During one of my visits to Japan, I was invited to have lunch with the kids at a local public school. I was amazed not only at the portion, but how well balanced their meal was. Pictured above is that meal. Since then, I have been making such changes in my own eating habits. There really isn't any "bad" food out there; it simply does matter how much, and how often we choose to have such food. Often I hear the question, "are you on a diet?" and I answer that it is not a diet but a lifestyle. I can truly say the same about exercise. If there is a sport or exercise that makes me feel as though "I have to do it", then it is time look for other sports or exercises that make me feel as though I "want" to do them.
